Pork Barbeque Product Recalled

Louisburg, N.C.-based The Murphy House has recalled pork barbecue product, according to Meatingplace.com. It was announced last week by USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service that the products may contain soy flour, an undeclared allergen. The recall involves 2,850 pounds of the product. FSIS has received no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

The products include 5 pound containers of "The MURPHY HOUSE PREMIUM PORK BARBECUE; COOKED, UNSKINNED, PORK WITH BARBECUE SAUCE ADDED" Each package bears the establishment number "EST. 2135" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The pork barbecue products were sent to distributors and restaurants in the North Carolina region.
